The main shopping streets are in the area between the Markt and the old city gates: Steenstraat, Simon Stevinplein, Mariastraat, Zuidzandstraat, Sint-Jakobsstraat, Ezelstraat, Sint-Amandsstraat, Geldmuntstraat, Noordzandstraat, Smedenstraat, Vlamingstraat, Academiestraat, Philipstockstraat, Hoogstraat, Langestraat and Katelijnestraat. But don’t forget to explore the side streets, too – each neighbourhood has its own atmosphere and each street its own identity. The unique Zilverpand shopping centre is located between Noordzandstraat and Zuidzandstraat. You will also find a great selection of top-quality shops and speciality stores in other neighbourhoods of Bruges. It is definitely worth taking a wander!
