Bistro Refter and the accompanying studio flats are encased in a sleek, ultra-modern building. The angular roof structure reaches high up into the sky. The façade in rough cement conceals a second, light-coloured façade and the balconies in the thrilling interspace are adorned with white lacquered furniture. It's quite a sight. The building, the surroundings, the neighbouring homes, it all fits together like a glove. In the entrance hall, the guests at table can look straight into the cooking pots, while passers-by will have to make do with the striking, brightly coloured wall tiles by Bruges artist Benoît van Innis, which you can admire in the entrance hall from outside.
