Brugge op zesde plaats in Condé Nast Traveler's Awards

Brugge scoorde een zesde plaats in de categorie 'small cities world' in de prestigieuze Condé Nast Traveler's 2021 Reader's Choice Awards. Het toonaangevende reismagazine Condé Nast Traveler baseerde zich voor deze awards op de ratings en reviews van meer dan 800.000 lezers over hun recente reiservaringen. Deze resultaten tonen aan naar welke bestemmingen de lezers van Condé Nast het meest verlangden toe ze niet konden reizen en het eerst besloten te bezoeken toen dat terug kon.

Brugge koos reeds voor de coronapandemie voor een duurzaam toerismeverhaal en ziet deze award als een bevestiging van de kwalitatieve weg die werd ingeslagen. In dit nieuw verhaal voor toerisme kiest de stad uitdrukkelijk niet voor ‘meer’ maar voor ‘beter. Een positief en duurzaam verhaal dat we samen schrijven met onze bezoekers, inwoners en ondernemers.
